Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Therapeutic massage is massage which is offered with the goal of obtaining a therapeutic benefit. It differs from relaxation massage, performed to help someone relax. While this type of massage is often relaxing, the end goal of the session or series of sessions is not relaxation. Best for those in recovery from an injury or daily maintenance for athletes. I combine deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, stretching, joint mobilization and energy work into my therapeutic work. Whatever your body needs depends on what modalities I'll use.
Kemetic Reiki helps bring about positive balance and harmony to one’s entire being (mind,
body & soul). It focuses on the releasing of negative energy lodged within the astral body, inside of the energy centers and auric field. The positive healing energy is transferred from one energy being to another,
without requiring touch. Although, there are times when touching may occur if needed and agreed upon. This form of Reiki is different from Japanese Reiki. This ancient form of Reiki is mostly focused on deep-rooted trauma and spiritual development as it is a stronger force of energy that can go deeper within us.
